TEHRAN -- Asghar Farhadi is planning to donate his Silver Bear to Film Museum of Iran. He won the award for the best director for “About Elly” at the 59th Berlin film festival on Saturday.

Farhadi who was attending the Berlinale to promote his movie along with actresses Merila Zarei, Rana Azadivar and actor Peyman Moadi, returned home Tuesday morning.
He was warmly received by his filmmaker wife Parisa Bakhtavar and his daughter, several other members of the crew and the reporters.
In his short speech, he expressed his happiness on the positive reactions of the audiences to his new production both in Berlin and Iran.
Farhadi also won a Crystal Simorgh for best director at the 27th Fajr International Film Festival.
Film producer Mahmud Razavi announced that there will be a press conference with director Farhadi and other members of the cast and crew in the near future.
“About Elly” tells the story of middle class Iranians whose trip to the Caspian Sea turns into a tragedy as they try to uphold their social customs.
